Vienna VLBI Group at EGU 2022

In the week of 23 to 27 May 2022 the General Assembly 2022 of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) took place in Vienna. After almost two years of pandemic, the first-ever fully hybrid EGU brought together over 7000 geoscientists from 89 countries on site and 7000 virtual attendees from 116 countries. In sum, almost 12500 presentations were held in 791 sessions covering disciplines of the Earth, planetary and space sciences. The Vienna VLBI Group participated with the following presentations
- Characteristics and results of two years of a VLBI southern hemisphere intensive observing program (Sigrid Böhm et al.)
- Precision of Galileo satellite orbits obtained from simulated VLBI observations (Helene Wolf et al.)
- Impact of erroneous station coordinates on the estimation of UT1-UTC with VLBI Intensive sessions (Lisa Kern et al.)
