Session Notes for crf108 Prepared by K. Le Bail, NVI, Inc./GSFC and Alet de Witt, HartRAO ================================================================ PURPOSE AND GENERAL NOTES ================================================================ The purpose of this CRF session is to perform astrometric observations in order to strenghten the ICRF in the southern sky. The scheduling technique basically continues the technique used by Alan Fey in previous CRF sessions; however, this session uses five additional sources in the south provided by Alet de Witt and we use a 1Gbps narrow-band mode currently used to schedule AOV sessions. The scheduling strategy follows the template of previous CRF sessions: the scan length is 5 minutes for each source with a default flux value of 0.50 Jy in both X- and S-band.
